Abstract
It is considered the usage of interlaboratory comparisons for the assuring of national metrology system functioning in the part of national measurement standards recognition (international standards comparisons), development and support the system of the units dissemination (the measurements methods evaluation and reference materials certification by interlaboratory experiment) and the calibration, testing and medical laboratories competence confirmation while their accreditation (proficiency testing). The information on valid European Proficiency Testing System EPTIS is presented. The programs for different types of laboratory studies are considered. The approaches to participants functioning evaluation are presented for the proficiency testing while calibration programs. The recommendations by international documents concerning laboratory activities monitoring reliability are presented.
